How Any Disease Can Be Prevented
You have probably heard that there are higher chances of being diagnosed with a disease today than five or ten years ago. Some of these diseases have no known cure and some are just too expensive to treat. But why should you be one of those diagnosed?
The statistics do not state that it is a must you get such diseases. Therefore, you can take some measures to ensure that you do not fall sick.
You must control what goes into your body and mind if you want to prevent disease. The methods you can use to control this include the following.
Live in a clean environment. Clean here means that the environment should not contain pollutants which would harm the body were it to contact them.
Find a quiet neighborhood to live in. such neighborhoods have lesser risk of stress which could come as a result of conflict with neighbors. In addition, ensure that you are in good terms with the neighbors.
Feed your body with organic food. Your body needs nutrients to ensure it is functioning well. Many of these nutrients can only be found in organic foods.
Although health supplements have been produced as an alternative to food, they usually contain a single nutrient compared to some foods like fruits which contain multiple.
Give your body enough time to rest. You might be working an 80 hour week with little time to rest. This is quite risky as a fatigued body can not fight off disease effectively. Sleep at least 7 hours everyday.
In addition to rest, give your body some play time. This includes exercise and other activities which make the body and mind strong. These activities give the body an opportunity to break away from the monotony of work as well as grow healthy.
By practicing these simple tasks, you will be able to prevent any disease from attacking your body.
